Gently Read Literature is an internet journal that hopes to actually be of some use. How? By creating a forum for genuine criticism and analysis of contemporary literature, specifically contemporary poetry and the contemporary novel. There are too few outlets that take the time to scrutinize literature, to explain how and why we value poetry and novels the way we do. We need to know the reasons why there are good angels and bad angels.
