the quiet of inconsequence

what's the point when
the drivel comes
across for the fourth time
in a morning
and the fifth minor
key gives you half
the money you thought
you had coming and
what's the point when
a partial eclipse of wonder
at any mere movement
brings in the frost
brings forth the guessings
and nothing leaves the
constricting premises and
what's the point when
perplexity and peacable
join with nothing
left for the supper
but the frozen the
unsatisfied and unendurable
trying against reason to
limit the return of favor
and the bellicose response
in the wicked
cry giving up quiet
gesture and we are the sport
of drum the quiet of
inconsequence the
gesture of inestimable
