we are worms
we are bobcats
we are grizzlies gone
a different branch of raw
as the haywire
or electric can
become
at the level of
the electric
maybe it is the same
if a robin's wings
click their
way south or
a bear turns to
hibernate in a nook
or we get too
entangled to
light out the path
we suffered and
bumbled into
in our mumbling
state
at that level, too,
too, as hollow
as bells, the pulling
of which is
as electric
as sound in
humid air
